Pete Hubbard – Personal Trainer

I am a qualified sports therapist and personal trainer specializing in injury rehabilitation, strength & conditioning, and hypertrophy training. I believe that reaching your goals can be easy, if you think that eating salads and training five time a week is for you and you can sustain that lifestyle then power to you. I however enjoy food and find that keeping active doing the things I love, i.e walking, rock climbing, boxing and skateboarding means that I can drink that Guinness on the weekend, eat a pizza and make my workout goals fun, achievable and sustainable.

Keeping things simple is the key to sustainable change, whether that may be to lose body fat, gain muscle or rehabilitate an old or recent injury. Simple principles from the get-go including good nutrition, daily activity and a steady approach to exercise can quickly lead to optimising macro nutrients, a physically active lifestyle and absolutely smashing your goal. I began my career after joining for the first time in 2013, I was overweight, incredibly unfit and had little muscular strength. After a year of rapid improvements including loss of body fat, muscular strength, and cardiovascular fitness I had completely changed my body and my mind. I felt confident in my new body and I did not want to lose that great feeling and after just one year, I decided I wanted to help others achieve what I had and more. After 6 years of hard work I have become qualified as a personal trainer and a sports therapist, helping countless clients/patients make great and sustainable change.
